Valentine party punch + giveaway

My Christmas decorations aren’t all put away yet and my brain has already moved on to Valentine’s. I know… it’s just who I am. {snicker}

Over the holidays my sister-in-law made this incredible punch and she had kids and adults alike clammmoring for it. It was fabulous. I took her idea, tweaked it just a bit (thanks Norma!) and came up with this Valentine party punch!

Here’s what you’ll need per flute serving (punch bowl):

    • 1/3 Sierra Mist Natural (2 liter)
    • 1/3 tropical punch (2 liter)
    • 1/3 scoop pineapple sherbet (1/2 gallon)

Oh, and there’s a GIVEAWAY! {Yay! Free Stuff!} ~ win a Sierra Mist Natural gift pack (shaker, drink garnish/sugars, party glasses) & a $50 AMEX Gift Card

How to Enter: Leave a comment on this page telling me your most creative cocktail/mocktail recipe idea. You never know, it might just wind up on Sierra Mist’s facebook page! Hint. Hint.

Deadline: January 5, 2012 at 11:59pm Eastern Time

Extra Entries (leave a comment for EACH extra entry!):

  • Like Sierra Mist on facebook
  • Like The Celebration Shoppe on facebook (existing and new counts!)
  • Follow Sierra Mist (@SierraMist) and The Celebration Shoppe (@celebshoppe) on Twitter and tweet about this giveaway. Something like: Head over to win a $50 AMEX card and entertaining pack from @SierraMist & @celebshoppe ~ goo.gl/fb/knJH9

I’m not super creative with the cocktails per se but we do like apple cider fixed up with some cloves, cinnamon stick, orange rind, lemon rind, fresh orange juice and a little maple syrup. Let that simmer for awhile (your house will smell sooo good) and then drink. Thanks, Maureen (jnomaxx at hotmail dot com)

    I would like Appletini recipe

1 1/2 oz Smirnoff® Green Apple Twist vodka
1 oz DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker schnapps

Stir ingredients together with crushed ice in a cocktail/martini glass, and serve.

My twist to this would be to put some sierra mist in here…I think that would be great!

Whipped Cream flavored vodka, ChocoVino, splash of tonic water or Sierra Mist depending on your flavor preference over ice and top with whipped cream. Rich, but delish!

My creative mix has probably been done but I love tropical drinks so hear goes. Combine 1/4 Pineapple Juice, 1/4 Sierra Mist, 1/4 Cranberry juice and 1/4 rum.

I don’t really have any ‘go to’ recipes. I use the tradition sherbert, ginger ale, 7 up mixture or ask someone else to bring one. Now, I do like homemade cocoa and Strawberry Daiquiris with slivers of strawberries and extra whip topping.. minus the alcohol these days since I’m on too many pain pills but just love the taste of them.

This is my “go to” punch when I need something quick and easy that everyone likes:

1 carton Minute Maid punch (i use the Fruit Punch but the Tropical is good also).
1 large can of Pineapple Juice
(Freeze overnight – I pour mine into an empty milk jug)

Place in the punch bowl and pour 1 can of Sierra Mist over the top. Delicious!!!
